In 2006 her work was chosen for the cover of Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment as one of four Penguin Classics reprints that year. Self-taught, she has had her work exhibited in multiple shows around the world including Ariano Film Festival Photo Award, Italy, 2017 5th Annual Exposure Award 'Dreamers Collection' Digital Display at Musee du Louvre, France, 2015 The Royal Photographic Society, "˜Selected Images: 1854 - 2012' as part of Bristol Festival of Photography, solo exhibition at HayHill Gallery, Cork St in London, in 2009 at Musee de L'Elysee, Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2007 and Cooper Union, New York. After earning her BA from University College London in 1999, she has since 2003 found herself captivated by and single-mindedly committed to the medium of photography.

Yet I left the principal greenish/blue cast so as to suggest the proneness towards the age, whereas the cracked texture also suggests the fragility of the environment. I found the use of colour would be a distraction to create the desired effect. Whereas by introducing the subtle contrast between the nude part of a body and the covering shield in the form of a desolate, crumbling wall, as if to blend into each other, I also wanted to intrigue and provoke an emotional response within the viewer that could only be interpreted by him/herself. By isolating the point of focus in every image, I wanted to invite the viewer to imagine himself in the same place behind the “wall”.

The series focuses on the man and his fascination, or otherwise the opposite reaction, with his own body.
By emphasising a connection with one’s natural background or concentrating on a specific personal fragment is what helps to achieve this understanding of beauty or being distinct. The notion of being able to see and identify the other side of yourself is what makes everybody different and special with relation to their environment and other people.
